What to Expect

Our Sunday Morning Worship begins at 10:40 AM.

Sunday School begins at 9:30 AM, check with the Church Office to find a class that’s right for you

A typical worship service at our church will include a greeting and opening prayer, a time for getting right with God and with each other, scripture readings, silent prayer and meditation, an offering, the Lord’s Prayer, a children’s message, the sermon, special music and hymns, and a closing prayer.

Lyrics, common prayers, and responses are projected on our screens and monitors to help if you are unfamiliar with the songs or liturgy.

We share in Communion on the first Sunday of each month. We have an open table, all are invited to participate in Communion. You do not have to be a regular attender or a member of our church to join us in Communion.

The weekly sermon is broadcast on 96.1 FM in the Childress area, or you can listen at 10:00 AM to the Hughes Bible Class  our Weekly Sermon follows at 12:00 PM.

Childcare is provided for Birth – 4 year olds during our morning service in our Nursery.
